Steve & John Conte have been playing/writing music together since they were pre-teens; Steve the drummer, inspired by Ringo & John the guitarist inspired by Simon & Garfunkel. One day Steve picked up John's guitar & discovered he could sing & write songs. The rest is history. After many bands together they signed to Mercury Records w/ Company Of Wolves & later formed Crown Jewels & The Contes.
